 Ashraf Hakimi Moh was born on November 4, 1998 in Madrid, Spain, into a family of Moroccan origins. His father is from Wadi Zem and his mother is from Ksar El Kebir.


 In 2016, he moved from Deportivo Colonia to Real Madrid.  Hakimi joined the Real Madrid youth academy and was nominated to join the Real Madrid club's reserve team in June 2006, and soon joined the team's first camps in the United States of America.

 His first participation was with Los Blancos in the International Champions Cup in 2016, where his team lost to Paris Saint-Germain 1-3, then he returned to the reserve team, so his first participation was on August 20, 2016 in a match against the Real Sociedad reserve team, which  Real Madrid won it 3-2 in the third phase of the Spanish Football League.


 Achraf Hakimi scored his first goal on September 25, 2016, with a 1-1 draw for his team with Fionlabrada.  In the league championship, the number of his participation reached 28 times during the tournament, in which his team achieved the eleventh place.


 At the end of the season, he was still at a young age that allowed him to return to the Real Madrid team under the age of 19, to participate in the final match of the King’s Cup in 2017. On August 19, 2017, Ashraf was transferred to the ranks of the Real Madrid main team, as a substitute for Danny.  Carvajal was given the number 19 shirt.


His first participation with the team was in the Spanish League championship on October 1, in a match against Espanyol, which they won 2-0.  He scored his first goal in the Spanish League on 9 December 2017 during a match with Sevilla, which ended in a 5-0 victory.


 Ashraf has two participations with his team, Real Madrid, in the eighteenth edition of the European Champions League in 2017, in which Real Madrid achieved the third European Champions League title in a row, and the thirteenth in the club’s history.


 After he participated in the Morocco national team under the age of 17 and under the age of 20, his first participation with the national team under the age of 23 was on June 5, 2016, in the friendly match with the Cameroon national team under the age of 23, which they won 1-0.


 On October 11, 2016, his first international participation with the Moroccan national team was as a substitute for Fouad Shafiq in the match that ended 4-0 with the Canadian national team. He also scored his first international goal on September 1, 2017, which is the fourth goal in the match that brought together the Moroccan national team.  With the Mali national team, it ended 6-0.


 In May 2018, Ashraf Hakimi's name was included in the starting line-up for the Morocco national team in the 2018 World Cup, which is organized by FIFA and hosted by Russia.  On June 4, he was selected in the final squad for the summer tournament.


 In the same year, but in July, Ashraf signed with Borussia Dortmund on a two-year loan, and scored his first goal with the team in the German League confrontations against Nuremberg, and the match ended with a 7-0 victory, and Hakimi made three goals in  One match with his club Dortmund, in his first participation with the team in the Champions League confrontations against Atletico Madrid, and Hakimi appeared with a wonderful and exceptional performance.


 On July 2, 2020, the Moroccan signed for Inter Milan on a five-year contract, and contributed to the team's victory over Fiorentina in the Italian League, after providing an assist that contributed to the team's victory.


 On July 6, 2021, Hakimi moved to Paris Saint-Germain, and scored his first goal in his first participation with the team, against Troyes.
